After the months of agony,
The eyes that stream with pain,
The cutting into flesh and bone,
Crying out his name.

She still loves him.

After sitting in a pool of confusion,
After being beaten into place,
All she remains wishing for,
Is to stare upon his face.

After all he ever said to her,
The lies and vicious words,
She still loves him with all her heart,
Even after she has been burnt,

After all the things he did to her,
left bruised in the rain,
Playing mind games stabbed through the heart,
Messing with her brain

After all the years of freedom,
Away from clenched up fists,
He doesn't seem to realize,
Just how much hes missed.

And now on her grave we weep,
A girl who loved to other,
Safe within the angels grasp,
Her spirit will recover.
