I'm writing, It's possessing me, I cannot stop my pen
Whenever I stop writing, I can't wait to start again
It's healing, its alluring, I was drawn in now I'm lost
I'm writing, YES, I'm writing, I'm revealing, at what cost?

I'm talking, It's releasing me and showing all my fears
In carefully typed letters it seems an end is near
It's sensual, it's exciting, and I fell for the disguise
I'm talking, YES, I'm talking, can't you hear my wanton cries?

I'm crying, It's destroying me but it must be complete
I must continue with it 'fore I end up at it's feet
It's toxic, It's enchanting and I'm deeply under spell
I'm crying, YES, I'm crying as I hear the funeral bell

I'm singing, It's expressing me and seeping into words
In sentence upon sentence it has taken my whole world
It's scary, It's disgusting but I'm lusting all the same
I'm singing, YES, I'm singing, but it doesn't feel the same

I'm laughing, It's maddening me and stripping away sin
With different verbs and adjectives and places to begin
It's lovely, It's exquisite and I long for it's desire
I'm laughing, YES, I'm laughing as I burn with passion's fire

I'm living, It's exploring me, my naked soul exposed
The descript heroines passion as it peels away my clothes
It's awful, It's enraptured it cleanses through my mind
I'm living, YES, I'm living, with the seeing of the blind

I'm dying, It's inviting me, unto a better ending
The magic of the novel and the beauty of the sending
It's closer, It's beginning, it's laughter is alluring
I'm dying, YES, I'm dying, captured by writing a story
