Bleeding Heart

A little stream of blood
Runs down my bashed up face
I feel dizzy now
And fall down in my place

When I awake I get back up
Then I look around
Theres a pool of blood
Where Ive been on the ground

You did this to me
You knocked me down
And left me on the cold hard ground

I try to run but you appear
And drag me back by my hair
I try to kick and scream and shout
But it doesn't work you just knock me about

You throw me at the wall and I hit the ground
I want to get up but I stay down
You laugh and start toward me
I wish to myself that you couldn't see

When your near you apologize
And fake tears run from your eyes
You hold out your arms for a hug
I think to myself 'your such a thug'

As we embrace you pin me down
Once again I'm on the ground
I told you no once and I told you again
I had to stop the hurt and pain

I pulled the trigger in self defense
Then left you there stiff and tense
I didn't kill you out of hate
But I couldn't let you commit rape
