Sometimes i want to get over everything
Just leave every moment far too behind
Run away from the monster of my past
But somehow angels have never been kind

Sometimes i want to run with closed eyes
So i could visualize serenity in the middle of my screams
Hide behind the roots of sacred lies
To feel soothing thorns in my everlasting dreams

Sometimes i push my soul to jump
When there is no one to break my fall
Loving you was so bitter for my heart
Yet better than not being loved at all

Sometimes i sleep in my dreams
While memories crawl right by my side
Tried to run from the monster of past
Somehow your love hasn't been so kind
