Imperfection

I may not be perfect,
But I am who I am,
Accept and respect me,
And I'll treat you equally.

I may not be perfect,
But I ain't no pretender,
Don't ever doubt my integrity,
Cause it's something you don't earn.

I may not be perfect,
Nor am I a beauty,
You can live your own life,
Just get out of my life!!

I may not be perfect,
But I like being me,
I'm not a doll like you,
I doubt I'll ever be.

I may not be perfect,
Maybe way too far from it,
But I'm happy being me,
Cause hypocrite I'm not.

I may not be perfect,
I may not be you,
But who cares to be,
When you're none too good than me..

    I actually quite like this poem because it's no offence but not what it says on the tin. The name doesn't grasp the poem, or I don't think so...I like it that way, like with my poem In Iraq On Family. It bases around war yes but the name makes no sense corresponding to the poem. Really well done.
