Sea of Heartbreak

by Mousie   Oct 4, 2006

In the rush of a wave
The tears fall down your face.
You're so alone in this sea
Of unhappy fates.

You're drowning in sorrow
The crashing of the tide
Against the rocks of your obstacles
Under which your unhappiness hides.

The storm keeps brewing
Soon comes the wind and the rain,
Forbidding black clouds loom
Bringing the haunting pain.

But out of this darkness
Comes your angel's light,
He is your rescue
Causing you to put up a fight.

You fight off the storm
With the tears wiped away,
You'll be safe in his arms
Where forever you'll stay.

I loved this! I thought the flow was excellent, and consistantly followed a pattern, which is always a good thing. Excellent wording, too.
