Lost

by catherine   Oct 5, 2006

Pages are turned.
Words are forgotten.
Her whole life\'s work,
Is forever lost.

Glances between them.
Hate is exchanged.
All of his feelings,
In process lost.

Smiles are oblivious.
People are faking.
Their trust for another,
Broken and lost.

Che-ques are given.
A rich mans life.
Money is constantly spent,
And stupidly lost.

Notes are passed.
Then quickly read.
All the rumors spreading,
Truth is lost.

Music is loud.
Dancers are moving.
Listening to rhythmic beats,
Thoughts are lost.

Regretting things done.
Trying to forget.
All of her control,
Was temporarily lost.

Dazed and confused.
What to do?
Dreaming about small things,
Reality is lost.

I cannot breath.
I cannot see.
Holding on with care,
Hope isn\'t lost.

Simply Amazing! I loved how you used "lost" at the end of each stanza... Great Title By The Way... my favorite stanza is:
    I cannot breath.
    I cannot see.
    Holding on with care,
    Hope isn't lost.
    Great Job!
