New love

by Melissa   Oct 5, 2006

Each night she misses,
His loving kisses,
She remembers his arms wrapped around,
Knowing that their love is bound,
by more than just sexual relief,
this is more like God's belief,
Holding tight to the sound,
Of each time his heart would pound,
These thoughts get her through the night,
When she wakes and her chest is tight,
Each time she has these pains,
Her memories become more like stains,
Each one a sheer delight,Making her mind take flight,
Like the music of a band,
Taking her to some foreign land,
Her thought drift back to him,
And the day she went on a limb,
She said 3 words,"I love you."
He said them too!
O' how happy she would be,
If only he would see,
That this love was one to last,
They could forget the past,
The would become more like one,
Any other's love they would shun,
This is the way it worked in her dream,
Her and her lover working as a team,
Both of them their,
Each other's eyes they stare,
Holding one another tight,
Till the sun shines no more light,
As their lips begin to touch,
Both knowing they love so much,
How could this ever be,
Anything but serenity,
Losing everything in sight,
but they don't even try to fight,
Can't hear anything but the sound,
Of this love that they have found
