Friends

Friends from the future,
Friends from the past,

Friends right now,
That I may have,

My face is lit up, and my grins from ear to ear,
These are the times when we have no fear,

Though distance may grow and memories might fade,
Here is the proof of were we had played,

Now rumors between us and secrets that keep us,
Weâ??ll always have each other from sadness to sickness,

Now the truth of the matter,
As we start to scatter,

Our lives are all jaded,
And our memories now shaded

It will be fun to remember,
When it all started that September,

It always felt too soon,
That gloomy day of June,

When we all would move on,
And we all lost our bond,

Thinking back on dirty looks,
And signing all those yearbooks,

All the fun that we had,
It makes me quite sad,

Glad I wasn't a boar,
Wished I'd done more,

Now my emotions are bare,
As I sit a share,

Memories from friends of the past,
Wonder why they didn't last?
