Her world

by Kathleen   Oct 5, 2006

Emptiness inside, hungering for pain, that you wont let go away. Lock in a guarded box the key thrown askew are the memories of me and you. Hurt trapped without a window to breathe, is the lust condemned inside of you and me. Kept in her world eyes will stare, voices will speak but none will be heard. A battle no longer hers or for the ones who fought beside her. A wounded soul struggling for survival in a cold dark world. Blood falls like tears drowned away by terrified fears. Thoughts of happiness linger by, until a knock at her door. When a stranger tells her she will hurt no more. She knows better than listen to his lies and goes against the voice inside. Turns around closes the door and gets ready to face a whole new world.
