Twilight

by Nick who Plays Pool   Oct 5, 2006

Twilight brings a silver glitter, in the twinkle of my eye
When time passes by I think of a bird, flying through the sky
Carrying mankinds wants, and their pleads to know the truth
And the bird, flies past time carrying mankinds curiosities forever.

The knowledge behind, times barrier is kept asleep
Running past a silver glass, the futures truth behind it waits
Feeling lost, falling into the past for everlasting more
The dawn of mankind brings all the knowledge evermore.

When the time comes we will all understand
The future will cease, the past will fade
The longing dreams as the twilight approaches
And the present will freeze, to a wasteland of dreams.

    There pleads = their pleads

    flys = flew(?)

    Your random comma's in the lines are very frustrating. I don't really understand this poem, but it was slightly captivating. Well done, still, but I don't have that much to say about this one...
