The doorway

by steelpricess   Oct 6, 2006

Upset at being left standing
she goes back to her house.
Getting ready for bed
she showers and changes.
As she reaches her bed
someone knocks on the door.
about to ignore it
she gets into bed.
The knocking kept up.
As she tried to sleep
the knocking increased.
Finally she gets up
to get the door.
when she reaches for
the door knob, she
hears his voice.
He calls out to her,
wanting her to open the door.
she yells at him to go away
but she knows that he won't.
He start to talk to her through the door
and she goes quiet.
when she finally
opens the door and
he looks at her, she is crying.
She tries to get him to leave.
She threatens to call the cops.
Then he makes the statement
that blows her away...
I love you and I'm not leaving
until you admit that you love me too.
Then she does the unthinkable.
she closes the door
and never looks back.

I really loved it till the last 2 lines! idk your opinions probably totally different then mine, but i believe that if u have the chance to love someone that u take it with an open heart, even if that means your open to hurt. ive been hurt many times but i will always believe in second and even third chances if they sincerely love you...if u could comment on my work i'd love it
