I TRIED PUTTING THIS IN THE QUOTES SECTION BUT WAS TOO LONG- KNOW IT'S NOT REALLY A POEM AS SUCH BUT PUT IT HERE INSTEAD. XX

Fate changed me in ways
I never knew I would change,

Took from me that
Which can't be regained.

But in all that is lost-
Here one thing remains;

A mantra of strength,
Born of weakness and pain:

You save yourself,
Or you remain unsaved.
