The Doors Of Death

by Shadow   Oct 6, 2006

Clouds of darkness are covering the sky of another broken life
A broken dream, a broken heart, and a soul of hurt and strife
Gazing upon it like the stars up high saying "it's fun to see"
While she suffers and cries all night long with a heart of misery

The sky is darkened without the moon not even with a single star
The girl sits wondering what has happened the mystery has gone too far
She doesn't know what she's become. She forgot who she used to be
She can no longer scream those screams of help. Those screams of beg and plea

The doors of her past are locked, she can no longer see inside
So the darkness gave her the doors of death it has become her place to hide
In those doors she sits in a corner chasing away her fears
Almost drowning in that hollow room, that's only filled with tears

She's still holding on, not letting go her heart is cold and strong
Though the pain she's feeling in her shattered soul has been going on too long
She sits still in the hollowed room under the shadows of death
While death chokes her little by little hoping she would lose breath

She's not giving in to her only shelter, her only blanket, her only hope
She has learned to hang on, to stay alive, and with pain she learned to cope
As the clouds of darkness cover the sky of another broken life
A broken dream, a broken heart, and a soul of hurt and strife
