Growing up together, I always saw you like I always did.
Not thinking about how you saw me, your confession shocked me because I still thought of you as a kid.

Once you tried to kiss me, but I pulled back.
You should have seen it as a defensive act, it wasn't ever meant to be a attack.

You never got that I didn't want you to feel awkward, feel like I was wanting more then I should.
I thought you saw me as a caring older brother, but now you say you'll love me more then anyone else ever could.

We kiss with all our heart's content, kiss like we'll never have to part if we keep going.
Our two forms flying through the air, passing the clouds and sun..we are soaring.

I know now that you loved me since our first time together, since we first said "Hi".
I should have confessed to you before, since I've only gotten you now to say "Goodbye".
