Never In Vain.

by midmid   Oct 6, 2006

For I have loved and loved again
Can love though painful be in vain?
Though painful, love can not be wrong
Though none but a bird heard my song
Of love, he smiled though was in pain
For heart felt tunes rendered him sane.
I say this just for the mere though:
My love though painful, beauty brought;
Though not for me, but to a soul
That once was broken, now is whole.

This bird that once was silent, cold,
Now sings the tunes that he's been told;
The song of everlasting love
Though tempted, he still sings above.
