Absence of Ignorance

Cold demise of frozen fury
burning flames of desire

Love is dead and rotten
hate is alive and strong

She turns him down with gentle care
yet heart is still in pieces

He hides it well
she thinks it's okay

Life goes on
pain emerges

Pain takes over and turns to sadness
while hate takes it's place

She wonders what is wrong with him
she's completely oblivious to it all

He dies in pain and agony
he weeps and drowns in sorrow
