Hallows' Eve.

-Hallows' Eve.-

The harvest moon shone bright through his ratty blinds
As from outside his window, he heard talk of all kinds.
His eyes shot open as he stood in the darkened room
It was that time of year again, where was his costume?
With raven black hair slicked across his one eye
He lifted on the cape, as he gazed to the murky sky.
The streets were damp as children ran from door to door
Looking upon them as his urges let out a silenced roar.
The street lights shone down through his icy eyes
As Ambikas' tears chanted a tragic lullaby.
Footsteps stalked carefully as hearts crumbled in fright
From a cold hand cupped over her mouth so tight.
He laid her body down on the hardened forest floor
But her whimpers he gladly chose to ignore.
He leaned in close as his breath dampened her neck
Two fingers set lightly on top, for a pulse he did check.
As his fangs pierced her skin she let out a childs' cry
Ambikas' body fell, as he shuddered her good-bye.
Red and blue glistened off the dampened street Hallows eve
Searching for a child, as he wiped her blood onto his sleeve.
