Royal lonliness

A little girl of 10
sitting all alone
while daddy's making money
and sitting on a throne.

a royal palace
still not yet a home
not even a friendly bedroom
or a place to call her own.

she has ponies and horses
and grand dinners too
but not one person knows
exactly what shes going through.

she sits in her ballroom
playing with a teddy bear
all alone all day long
not one friend here or there.

although she may have riches
and many toys galore
but never has she had someone
play with her before

she has much money
but daddy has no wife
so she has nobody
no family, no life.
