Songs of Sorrow

by LenaLee   Oct 8, 2006

I sat alone on the playground as i sang a song,
It made me remember the sorrow that had made me free,
Wasn't long ago that i had a special bond,
As the days went by, All i had was memories,
The miracle that was you had long faded away,
The twinkle in your eye,
The smile on your face,
It so happens, that everything has gone astray,
Nothing matters to me anymore,
As i spend the days singing about my sorrow.
No one ever knew i had a singing voice,
The voice that will remain unheard,
But i will never forget the feeling when i sing a perfect song,
It seems to take me far away to where i belong,
But as the feeling disappears, I am left to cry,
There are times I feel so lonely,
Then i remember the melodies that guide me through my songs.
