We met each other in sixth grade.
Became friends right a way.
Promised to always be there,
Forever and a day.
But something bigger was coming,
It was never something we feared.
Who would have known that highschool
Could cause so many tears?
In ninth grade we were inseperable.
The bestest friends, if that.
We saw each other laugh,
We saw each other fight.
We smiled together after stupid fights.
But some where along the way,
We forgot how to be friends.
And forgot all those fun years.
Who would have known that highschool
Could cause so many tears?
Then tenth grade finally came along,
Who knew itd be our last?
We started to drift apart,
Forgeting about our past.
You had chosen your friends,
And I had chosen mine.
You chose to try and fit in,
I chose to try and shine.
Then one cold, October night;
I saw our friendship fall.
Neither of us trying to win
That one last fight.
We simply said goodbye,
Goodbye to all those years.
Who would have known that highschool,
Could cause so many tears?
