There's an angel on my screen

Sometimes I can’t help but to sit back and wonder why
This world needs oceans to separate her from I
Why do I call out to her and get no reply?
Oh but regardless, this angel so frequently stops by

Every time this angel appears on my screen
People stop in their tracks, she always makes a scene
“Is that a grown woman, or is that a teen?”
“Where can I meet her? Why is she unseen?”

She’s got the beauty to knock one right off their feet
Has a competitive spirit and can never be beat
She’ll make the darkest hours of your day complete
I can’t help but click “save” and not “delete”

When that angel appears on my screen
My world is no longer filthy, she helps make it clean
When I pray with my angel I don’t like people to intervene
Prayer for her has become a daily routine

After long hours of working she deserves to be fanned
Oh I can’t wait for my plane to just land
So I can squeeze my angel so tight and hold her hand
I can’t wait to see what we have planned

Kodak wouldn’t be able to capture all of our smiles
We’d end up with scrapbooks by piles
With an angel by my side I’d have no trials
I just pray at night God could shorten the miles

When that angel appears on my screen
I feel like I’m staring at a star or a queen
Within those few moments I allow nothing to come in between
I and the angel that’s staring back at me

People don’t understand, her wings are not broke
I’m not making her up, this isn’t a joke
Don’t doubt her presence because you’ve never heard her spoke
I can feel her touch and feel her poke

There is such a thing as carrying someone in your heart
That’s where she lays you can’t pull her apart
She carries wisdom with her, she’s so very smart
When you ask her to help you she’s quick to start

That angel on my screen has truly made me blessed
She gets me through my days and allows me to rest
Whenever you see me holding my chest
I’m just thinking of her, my hearts lovely guest
