Sleep

by Anonymous   Oct 8, 2006

My head is level with my feet,
I'm in my bed I'm fast asleep,
Long day, no rest, not much to eat,
From stress, from life, I now retreat,

I'm in my world, I'm in my dreams,
Floating, drifting, effortlessly,
A blissful state, now peacefully,
I end my day it's now complete,

Goodbye O World, don't bother me,
I'm hidden where you cannot see,
And now you must wait patiently,
For me to get back on my feet,

Until then you're on your own,
Don't knock, don't call, I'm in my room,
There's no place I'd rather be,
Than in this spaceless eternity!
