What I have lost,
they say can never be retrieved,
I lost the one,
every day was worth waking up for,
because you were there,
I rose,
only for your sweet embrace,
but I lost it all so quickly,
love left me,
I lost more then the love,
I lost my heart,
my willingness to love,
drowned in a sea of tears,
an arrow pierced and left a scar,
never to feel right again,
never to feel safe,
but to be vulnerable,
will I ever find it again,
will I ever feel it again,
will I ever smile again,
will love find me again?
