Our love

I remember that night
the stars were crying
the night we ended our love
all love was dying

you said you loved me
but it was all a fable
you laid out the truth
everything's on the table

9 months of my life
you seemed to have to lied
i even planned to make you my wife
it would've been to have died

you have no sympathy
for this fragile heart of mine
i wish i could take my life back
i wanna just rewind

now you've moved on
im left all alone
i still hear our laughs echo in my home
but now that's its over
i can try to move on
i sometimes cry from dusk till dawn

even though you'll never read this
i put my feelings for you up
just so you know one of us remembers
our love

    What an opening stanza that was!! It was excellent especially tha part about the stars crying.
    It really set the tone for the rest of the poem. So bittersweet
