Future

I wish I knew,
What the future holds for me,
Will I even be happy?
It is hard to comprehend,
It is hard to see,

I live life the only way I know how,
But people always intervene,
Sometimes I wish I was a ghost,
So I could not be seen,

I am very unsure on what I want to do,
I can always go back to school,
But I feel I am through,
Writing is the one thing I enjoy,
I know that is true,

My family always tries sway my decisions,
They only think about what they want me to do,
At times I feel,
I am the only person I can listen to,

When I think too hard about life,
I feel like i'm about to crumble and fall,
Sitting here,
Mindlessly staring at my bedroom wall

    In the end, you are the only one who can make decisions for yourself, because you will be the one living your life with the choices that you make. You just have to do what you feel is right and makes you happy. I guess we can only prepare ourselves for what the future holds, and try to embrace it. Great poem!
