Frozen Touch

by JL   Oct 8, 2006

Crisp, Autumn morn
Cool wind blows
Rustling the fallen leaves

Pale pink sky
As the sun slowly rises
Casting warmth with its rays

Sun beams hit her face
As she makes her way to school
Hair flying in the breeze

Gloves adorn her hands
Brilliant blue with black trim
Covering the mottled purple

Aching in the cold
Devoid of all sensations
Till summer comes back again

Stiff, ugly, purple hands
Leave her with
A frozen touch

(about Raynaud's Disease, which basically makes you lose all feeling in your hands, feet and sometimes your face-especially when its cold. )
