its been awhile since ive wrote
then again its hard to write
when my heart isnt broke

ive taken a new road down life
no more pain and tears
you stole away my deadly knife

im finally happy with where i am
no more fighting with cries
because im actually happy with this man

he makes me smile and feel good about myself
doesnt neglect me
hide me on the top of his dusty shelf

i was on the verge of never healing from him
suicide was my only choice
my life`s line was very slim

but then my baby, Rob, came to my rescue
saved me from ever lasting fear
now all i can say is...
