A lover's letter

by steelpricess   Oct 8, 2006

I love you
I love you so much it hurts
There's just no other way to put it
But you don't notice me
You notice the smart girls
And you notice the pretty girls
But you don't notice me
Now as I sit
Alone to think
And I see the looks
And I notice the stares
And I see all the pity
That hangs in the air.
Then finally it comes to me
Just like a cloud of magic dust
How did I not think of this?
How could it take me this long?
I finally know what gift to give
It will be a gift to all
So now as I lay here
The blood slowly puddles on the ground
As reality slips away
I want to say thank you
Thank you for not noticing my
And thank you for the stares
For they gave me the courage
To end all this despair.
Now I don't want a funeral
For it would be empty and alone
All I ask is that notice this
Just like you never did me.
