Remember when we
would sit upon the wet grass
and dream about tomorrow?

Remember when we
would laugh about yesterday
and pray for the future now?

Remember when we
promised each other our hearts
and I told you I Love You?

Remember when we
would listen to our love songs
and know that things would be fine?

Remember when you
told me that no matter what
you would forever love me?

Remember when I
began to cry in your arms?
I knew we'd be fine somehow.

A Sedoka is an unrhymed poem made up of
two three-line stanzas with the following syllable
counts: 5/7/7, 5/7/7
