My Heart's Indecision

I can't make up my mind
I'm swayed easily by the wind
Just when I think I know it
It drifts by me once again

Confused and misleading
Are these thoughts I have
They lead me on one way
Than reverse and take me back

I wish I knew my feelings
That they'd stop playing games
I feel like a ship that's drifting
Wherever there are waves

And like a seasick sailor
I'm growing tired of this trip
Choose a path and direction
Go ahead and follow it

But there are no defined lines
No right way, and no wrong
Therefore it's up to me
If the ride is short or long

But because I do not know
And my heart refuses to decide
It looks like I'm stuck here
To be tossed from side to side
