Fragile Butterfly

Tender and fragile
Like a butterfly's wings
A whisper in the wind
A song in the trees
Heart so delicate
It flaps in the breeze
Your words are like paper
Flimsy with ease
With a touch you could shatter
With a breath you could break
I know that this pain
Is hard for you to take
Be gentle with my butterfly
Hold her high and still
Let her fly and soar on her own
