The Lion's Roar

by WriterX   Oct 9, 2006

A roar from the Lion
Which awakes the people,
Makes them shout makes them scream
Makes them reach for what is theirs.

Like a pack of hungry dogs,
They rip apart the social order.
Then grab their guns and swords,
And kill the bird of peace.

They say they had a vision
Of an Empire once great.
And now with blood and steel
They will make the dream be true.

But when their men are dead,
And all the wars are lost,
They flee, they run, they don't look back
At the ruin of their dream.
