Ill winds

by Bryant   Oct 10, 2006

As the boy hides in the corner and cries
his father screams boy your going to die
the boy screams back id love to see you try

he pulls the gun from under the bed
longing for the moment that his father is dead
he prays that the round will strike his fathers head

he checks the cylinder one last time
its loaded with 6 rounds the size of a dime
his father will not beat him this time

the door explodes into splinters
the amazing strength makes the boy shiver
the sight of the boy and the gun makes his father quiver

the father pleas "son what wrong have i done"?
please boy put down that gun
ill change if you wont kill me son

from the barrel the bullet leapt
hitting low but right in the chest
slow bleeding will finish the rest

as the boys sits there happily
he figures this world wont need me
this is the only idea he could see

he slowly placed the barrel under his chin
pulling the trigger sending his brains into the wind
his soul floats out of his body headed to heaven
