Left outside of my own world
Shoved aside, locked alone
When you take someone away from there life
Deeper and deeper inside they die
A mask they wear covers the scars
The life they hold is far from ours
They lock the torture behind the doors
The yelling and screaming within the walls
If only a house could speak a mind
The stories, horrors one would hear and find
People dont realize what a word can do
One mistake could lead to many more
Do not cover your personality to impress another
The values and morals one confines
Separated from the mind
Growing older lost in a life
Searching for something, you will never find
The fears of a life, one must live
The knowing serenity is simply within
Where do you go when there is no where to turn
Left or right, you are left to learn
Teaching others from your past
Continue to hid, behind your mask
Until you come out and become who you are
Life has no meaning, and wont get far.
