Not So Long

Itâ??s only been a short while,
Not so long at all.
Feel so close to you,
Feel like I can concur all.

Time drifts in and out,
Leaving us momentarily suspended together.
Something is so different,
Something has changed forever.

Our footprints donâ??t seem so far,
Not so far at all.
I feel so near,
I know I will not fall.

Iâ??m a little scared,
The fearâ?¦
It goes away when Iâ??m with you.
It disappearsâ?¦

Endless stories of us flood my mind.
Leaving us together, as we lay
As we lay alone, with each other.
Our hearts know what to say.
