My Innocence

To you it just doesn't make sense
You'll never understand what you did
Taking my pure innocence
When i was only just a kid

Tearing away my childhood
And all my life long dreams
I used to think i had it pretty good
At least thats how it seemed

You say its only a bad memory
How it'll soon go away
But this isn't an ever after story
What you did is here to stay

How could you do this
Just break my soul apart
I leave a cut on each wrist
And a bullet to my heart

For now I'm a broken image
Cause rape took it all away
Why? At such a young age
Do you have nothing more to say?

I take one last breath
Because of a past I cant face
I'd rather welcome my own death
Than the memories i can not erase...
