Father

by Jessica   Oct 10, 2006

I cry at night remembering how we used to be
I miss the times when it was just you and me
The times when we just sat and talked
And the times when just went around town and walked

I hate hating you
But its all that I can do
I love you
I just can't stand the things you do!

You are my father
But lately you haven't had a bother
Only your beer your drugs
No time for hugs

I miss the father I once had
I miss the man I once called dad
He's still here
Now haunting me like my darkest fear
