The other day we raised the tree
Your job it was supposed to be

So I could again see your warm caring smile
I miss you my father, my champion, my knight
I wish that I had you again in my sight
But I know you can't be here, you would if you could
So saying goodbye should be nothing but good
But it's still not easy cause I miss you so
And a part of my heart, Dad, will never let go
