Mommy's Little Boy

by journey   Oct 10, 2006

I look in your eyes and all I see is sadness. My beautiful little boy what can mommy do to stop this madness.

The innocence of a child is so great and so pure, what do you do when that is stripped away?
I dropped to my knees and prayed. I Prayed for the return of the innocence of this child, I prayed for the twinkle to return to his beautiful brown eyes. I prayed for the return of that sweet laughter. I prayed for my son, my little boy, my life, my world my ultimate joy.

Oh how strong he is when he takes me by the hand and squeezes it ever so gently and when he looks at me he has the face of an angle. My strong little man, how proud mommy is of you. There is nothing in this world you can't do.

Be strong my son for I am here for you. I will hold you tight when you get up in the middle of the night. We will make it through, you see there is one thing no one can take away. We have each other and every night be fore we sleep we will get on our knees and PRAY.
