Finally

I couldn't believe it my mouth failed to speak,
Into my heart you softly creep.
You finally told me how you feel,
And in that moment I wasn't sure if it was real.

I tried telling myself wake up your dreaming,
That's not his true feelings.
But then tears fell and I knew I was awake,
But those words you said were much too hard to take.

Staring at you staring back at me,
All I could think was oh my god he loves me.
I didn't know what to say nor what to do,
My breath was swept away when you said "I Love You".

Finally I regain the moment but still nothing to say,
Now all i can think about was that special day.
Three little words could never tell you, how much you mean to me,
But now I know were meant to be.

I'm so glad I stayed patient and waited for you,
Even though it took you ten months, I know it's true.
Now i'm filling in for the day I couldn't say anything back to you,
