Darkness fills the room
Only the flickering light of the t.v, which a sound escapes from
The words meshing into a soft murmur
My head resting comfortable on his chest
And his arm wrapped around my body, molding to its contours
Throat clenched, heart pounding, lips pursed
As I attempt to force these bitter tasting words from my mouth
But no. Instead they sit there
Burning a hole in my tongue
Silence.
Only the sound of the t.v with the undecipherable words
