Once two hearts never separated
until heartbreak came in and waited

We once walked on hand in hand when every life's troubles came in demand

We took the time to endure
so much love it felt so pure

As years went by we stuck it through, with two hearts than one made it true

We were there to heal each others pain, now we walk down memory lane

How does a love turn out like this? we once promised each other wed never miss a kiss

We held each other almost every night, you brought me roses when we would fight

We went on in each others life, had
three children but yet not your wife

Yet still happy and glad to have you mine, I always thought wed be together for all time

I guess sometimes love comes in disguise, bringing some smiles and hiding the cries
