"When Someone Else"

As I lay here all alone,
I wonder If I ever cross your mind...
Just for a minute or a second,
thoughts at all of any kind.

When someone else kisses your lips,
Do I ever pop up in your head...
and remember those sweet things
that we both once said?
Do you ever walk right by a phone,
wanting to dial my number...
but stopped and thought to yourself,
reality is that I wont answer?
When someone else holds your hand,
and walks along with you content...
do you ever remember the places
where we both went?
those late night phone calls,
and walks in the park...
or the days when you slept over,
and cuddled with me in the dark?

just to say that you've been missed...
do you ever just sit there,
and start to reminisce?
just think about all the times,
when we laughed and joked around...
when each and everyday
a smile in our face was found?
When someone else lays on your chest,
and counts the beats in your heart...
do you remember me smiling,
and you giggling right from the start?
Do you ever think of me
when you hear the words "I love you"...
because even though I keep trying to forget,
Deep Inside my heart.........I Still do!
