Lost Love

I lay awake in bed
Thinking of times past
Mourning the loss of love
I thought would always last

Love is the greatest feeling
The one we always adore
The hardest one to lose
When the feelings are no more

The heart sits so empty
Its tough on either side
The times we spent together
It was such a lovely ride

The china doll has left me
Taken pieces of my heart
Left me in a shambles
On why it fell apart

I think of the beginning
The days of a wonderful life
The happiness that I felt
When you were my loving wife

It saddens me to think of it
That you want me no more

Your the one that i adore

I tried to be a man
Fix what broke apart
