We all have power
We use it so
We never stop
Not once
We use it so relentlessly
We kill innocent beings
We never stop
We all know we should
Yet we don't
Stop the use
We can all change

It's many years later
We have not yet stopped
There are less beings on this earth
We have made some unknown
A thing of the past
Extinct
Many more years
Not stopping
We use the resources greedily
We consume and consume
Never thinking
How much we are
More years
We have finally stopped
And our civilization is on the brink of destruction
You don't know what you have until it's gone
Soon all will be wiped off this planet
There are no resources left
No trees to chop
No oil to purify
No soil to plant
No water to drink
No animals to kill
We have not learned how
All of our actions
Have consequences
One thing leads to antother
And another
And another
More years
We are no more
The planet is bare
No life on it
No gasses on it
All has died
We used resources greedily
Not thinking about the consequences
Now we have nothing
Power is something to be reckoned with
