I sit down to write
I already know what I want to say
Like: I’ll love you now and forever
For today and all days
But the words bottled up in my head
Just don’t want to seem to come out
And I find it depressing at times
Because I know just what to talk about
I just don’t know how to simply express
The words I want you to know
I really cannot understand it
Because my feelings have always been so easy to show
I guess it’s because no words can explain
Everything to you I want to say
Because every time I think of you
It takes my breath away
My feelings for you can never be truly shown
Until I find the right words to say and write
I can’t be held in total captiveness forever
For soon enough I will see the light
