Grandma

by A Former Outcast   Oct 12, 2006

I remember a while ago
Back in the year '03,
It was your anniversary,
We were all there to see.

We all came up and spoke,
About the two of you.
We all spoke from our hearts,
We really meant it too.

We watched you two with love, Grandma,
We were so very glad.
We couldn't thank you enough, Grandma,
Neither you nor Granddad.

I remember walking up to the stand,
And telling a special tale
I remember the look you gave me, Grandma,
You made me feel like I never fail.

I will always remember that day, Grandma,
I will always remember it well.
And when I'm the same age as you two,
That's the story I'll tell.

Omg, Ben...This poem was so sad...it reminded me of my own Granmama that just died this summer...I cried and cried after I read this...Don't worry though, it's great it's excellent...it touched me...I still gave you a 5 just the same...:3~
