I drew a picture
would you lik to see it?
it's pretty and red
the lines as thin as a blade
it's a picture drawn
by the hand of a lover
it's of a heart
in a thousand and one pieces
i drew it today
so it's still fresh and raw
and maybe a drop
of blood remains
as i drew the picture
tears ran down my face
all that went through my mind
was is this enough?
will you notice now
will you dare to care
tell me if you did care
would you clean up my mess
patch up my wrist
and maybe kiss it better
is that how the tale goes?
or is that just a wishful dream
the pictures drawn
the scares have been made
the damage is gone
so what is left to do
sit and cry, draw another picture
or stand up and do the things you can't?
just one thing i wanna know
will you be there to catch
my picture and me?
