How does it make you feel?

When they flood around you,
does it make you feel safe?
or somewhat special,
but ask yourself is it all really true.

you keep them all close,
and as you do this your confidence grows,
your heads so far up your own arse,
it really shows.

how does it make you feel?
is it all an act?
because you don't wanna be alone?
is any of this real?

you keep insisting,
that its none of your fault,
its all your fault and you know it,
but yet you keep on resisting.

you use your friends as a shield,
like a barrier to protect you,
but dont you see,
the only fool around here is you.
